Meet Jared – The Sweetheart Corso
From the euthanasia list in a California shelter to stealing hearts in rescue, Jared is the kind of dog you don’t forget. This smaller Cane Corso is estimated to be between 8 months to a year old, and he’s just freaking adorable.
Jared is mellow, calm, and has an old soul kind of vibe that makes you want to sit next to him all day. He’s incredibly dog-friendly and would thrive in a home with another canine companion. He’s also gentle and easygoing enough to do well with children. For someone new to the Corso breed, Jared would be an ideal first-time match—he’s one of the easiest, most agreeable dogs we’ve had in rescue in a long time.
Despite the rough start, Jared holds no grudges. He’s the kind of dog who seems to know he got a second chance—and he’s ready to spend it making someone’s home a whole lot happier.
