This 10-12-month-old male was found on 12/16 crossing a freeway in Stockton, wearing a scarf as a collar. Likely from a nearby homeless encampment, he was very underweight with ribs and spine visible.

Medical Info:

    •    Vet visit on 12/19: rabies and 2nd round of parvo shots completed. 

    •    will be neutered , on NexGard for fleas.

    •    Treated for Giardia; follow-up stool samples due 1/9 and 1/16.

Behavior & Personality:

    •    Calm and gentle with dogs, passed a behavioral test at Rocket Rescue.

    •    Great with cats, no chasing or barking.

    •    Sweet, affectionate, laid-back, and loves to cuddle.

    •    Good with kids, house-trained, and well-behaved indoors.

    •    Excited for walks, does well on a leash, but dislikes crates and loud noises (e.g., blowers used to dry dogs at petsmart. Things like the vacuum is fine ).

This gentle giant is ready for a loving forever home where he can thrive as part of the family.
